M & E: THE CINDERELLA OF THE HOTEL INDUSTRY

Let’s be honest. We’d all rather be round the pool. I’d rather be photographing it. You’d rather be lounging by it. But Meetings and Events (M+E) is a big money-spinner for hotels, filling hotel rooms, restaurants and bringing cash for hotel revenue in it’s own right. And where the money flows we all follow and accordingly we are happy to consider ourselves expert Meetings and Events photographers. As with so many things, Meetings and Events photography is all about attention to detail. The chairs must be perfectly aligned. The glasses positioned ‘just so’ and the notepads and blotters must be positively regimental in the way they are set out. No need to wheel out your state-of-the-art projector, however. A table in the middle with wires trailing from it will do nothing to improve the look of the photographs. Instead, position your screen as normal, send us over the highest possible version of your logo (or whatever you want to show) and we will subtly display it on the screen for you. So get out your rulers, tune into the OCD aspect of your personality and lay out the rooms in an array of mathematical geometry designed to amaze and delight. But why am I telling you this? if you have read this far, you will probably know this already!
